Updated April 2026 • 6 min read
Metropol CRB is one of Kenya's three licensed Credit Reference Bureaus. Known for its mobile-friendly access and USSD service (*433#), Metropol is widely used by Kenyans checking their credit status before applying for a loan. Here is a complete guide to getting your Metropol credit report.
What Is a Metropol CRB Report?
A Metropol CRB report is an official document compiled by Metropol Corporation containing your full credit history as reported by Metropol's member lenders. It includes your credit score (200–900 range), account histories, payment records, negative listings, and credit enquiries.
3 Ways to Get Your Metropol CRB Report
Method 1: crbcheck.co.ke

Method 3: Metropol USSD — Dial *433#
Metropol offers the most convenient mobile option among Kenya's three CRBs — a USSD service you can use on any phone, even a basic feature phone.

- Select "Credit Report"
- Enter your ID number
- Confirm the M-Pesa payment prompt
