Updated April 2026 • 5 min read
CreditInfo Kenya is the third of Kenya's three licensed Credit Reference Bureaus. Owned by CreditInfo Group, a global credit information company, CreditInfo Kenya processes credit data for millions of Kenyan consumers. Here is how to access your CRB report through them.
Who Is CreditInfo Kenya?
CreditInfo Kenya is licensed by the Central Bank of Kenya to operate as a credit reference bureau. It collects credit data from commercial banks, microfinance banks, SACCOs, and digital lenders, giving lenders a comprehensive view of any borrower's credit history.

- Negative listings and payment behaviour
- Enquiry history from lenders who checked your record
CreditInfo Kenya vs Metropol vs TransUnion
All three CRBs hold data from overlapping but not identical sets of lenders. It is possible to be negatively listed at one bureau but not another. For a comprehensive picture, consider checking all three. crbcheck.co.ke provides a consolidated view for KES 200–300.
Disputing Errors on Your CreditInfo Report
If your CreditInfo report contains an error — an account you did not open or a listing from a debt you already repaid — you can raise a dispute through the portal. CreditInfo must investigate and resolve the dispute within 30 business days.
